The construction of the Oktoberfest 2009 has started

The 22.07.2009 was the due date for the beginning of the construction of the 176th Oktoberfest, since this Wednesday it´s a madhouse at the Therese´s Green. There are specialists at work everywhere to prepare the biggest fair of the known to us universes for over 6 million visitors from all over the world. People interested in the construction can only gaze at the hustle of the workmen from afar because it was decided in 2008 to block the Therese´s Green during the construction for safety reasons. The city was caused to do this as the construction-tourism took over hand. It became established that not only separate adults but also school classes and even kindergarten-groups drifted through Therese´s Green to examine the works on site. Shooting and taking pictures directly on Therese´s Green are nevertheless possible there´s just a permit from the Munich Tourism-Agency required.
