Tapping 2009 in the Ochsenbraterei

The thunderclaps of the twelve gun salutes – the traditional signal for the lord mayor of Munich having tapped the first barrel of Wiesnbeer - were hardly faded when the host of the Ochsenbraterei Hermann Haberl proclaimed: O´zapft is'! The answer was a vociferous elation of several thousands of thirsty throats which were immediately on the lookout for waitresses to lay there hands on the treasured brew. They weren’t a long time coming and gave out the first steins of Spaten-beer to the guests of the Ochsenbraterei. Therefore the Oktoberfest 2009 has finally started. The team of the Ochsenbraterei is looking forward to appreciating you in our festival-hall.
