The Hippodrom says thank you to all the participated workers 2008

After about two months of work it’s done: The Hippodrom-Tent is perfect! The management of the Hippodrom says thank you to all the restless workers who did it this year again, that the Hippodrom is erected in time. It takes approximately 2500 hours of work until our tent can shine in its entire beauty. Steel, wood, concrete, cloth, glass, and color have to be manufactured by skilled workers, so that the inhabitants of Munich and their guests can quench their thirst not only when the sun shines, but also when it rains. The unmistakable front of the Hippodrom, designed by the Oscar winner Rolf Zehetbauer in 1985, is a challenge of its own every year. But we do not want to distract from those, who we want to praise: Thank you very much, dear irreplaceable workers!
