Concert at the statue of the Bavaria on the 28th Sep 2008

Like every year the concert at the statue of the Bavaria takes place. All the bands of the beertents meet on the stairs close to the Bavaria, a huge statue of a woman, the allegory of the state Bavaria. This concert is the biggest concert of music for brass instruments worldwide. There will be about 300 musicians demonstrating their brass instrument skills. That’s why this concert is a must for every fan of music for brass instruments. Let us pray that the good Lord is a fan of this kind of music, too, and that He will see to good weather, so that the event won’t be drown by rain and that no lighting will convey a musician directly to heaven. But we Bavarians think positive about that because we have our special ambassador Aloisius, a Bavarian literary character, in heaven.
